Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting First Canadian Shave. All of our products are handcrafted in small batches in Ontario, Canada and carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.

Because First Canadian Shave is a small, independently operated business, please review the following shipping policies before placing your order.


Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–7 business days.

As First Canadian Shave is operated part-time, orders are shipped on weekends only. Orders placed during the week will be packed and dispatched on the next available shipping day.

During periods of high order volume, promotions, or product launches, processing times may occasionally extend slightly. We appreciate your patience and support.

Processing time is separate from carrier delivery time.


Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected shipping service.

Flat rate shipping options may be offered for certain regions and will appear automatically at checkout when available.


Canadian Shipping

Orders shipped within Canada are sent via tracked parcel services whenever possible.

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.

Estimated delivery times typically range between 2–8 business days, depending on the carrier and destination.

Please note that delivery times provided by carriers are estimates and not guarantees.


United States Shipping

Orders shipping to the United States are typically shipped using tracked postal or courier services.

Estimated delivery time is usually 5–10 business days, but may vary depending on customs processing and carrier conditions.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees that may be charged by U.S. authorities.


International Shipping

International customers must select a tracked shipping option at checkout.

If an untracked shipping method is selected, the shipment travels entirely at the customer’s risk.

First Canadian Shave cannot be held responsible for lost, delayed, or undelivered packages shipped without tracking.

International shipments may experience delays due to customs inspections or local postal service conditions which are outside our control.

Customers are responsible for any import duties, VAT, customs charges, or local taxes required by their country.


Carrier Responsibility

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the carrier.

First Canadian Shave is not responsible for delays caused by:
• postal service disruptions
• weather events
• customs inspections
• carrier routing issues
• holidays or peak shipping periods

Delivery dates provided by carriers are estimates only and not guaranteed.


Lost or Missing Packages

If a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier but cannot be located, customers should first:
1. Check with household members or neighbors
2. Check around the delivery location
3. Contact the shipping carrier directly

Packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier are considered successfully fulfilled orders.

First Canadian Shave cannot be held responsible for porch theft or packages stolen after delivery.


Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout.

First Canadian Shave is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

If a package is returned due to an address error, customers may be required to pay additional shipping costs for reshipment.


Customs Refusals

If an international order is refused by the recipient or returned due to unpaid customs duties or taxes, any return shipping costs and carrier fees will be deducted from the refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.


Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the product and packaging so we can assist you.
